The Same Birthday Friend

My good friend Kelly and I have known each other for about 4 years now.  She and I are in MOPS together and a Bible study.  Last summer we were both talking about wanting another baby, but were unsure of the timing, if we "really" wanted another baby, etc.  We prayed and had been praying for years.  Turns out we both became pregnant around the same time, by God's design.  I had told Kelly at MOPS in early November that I was indeed pregnant, only to hear from her, "So am i!"   Our due dates were 8 days apart!  Kelly was due to have her c-section on June 20th.  I was due the 30th and was going to be induced on the 27th.  God had another plan.  I went into labor on the 19th and Kelly was the first person I texted!  I told her I was going to have our baby on the 20th, just like her.  We couldn't believe it! What were the chances.  So, when Hattie was born at 2:39 a.m. on the 20th, Kelly was awake, nervous about her upcoming C-section that morning.  It's been fun to compare stories and do baby life together this summer.
