My Little Bunny

Chase is a lover of costumes and pretend.  He wanted to be a bunny the other day so he put on his costume and hopped around.  He surprised Jeff in his costume and Jeff had a few laughs.

Later on Chase changed into the leapord costume.  He would only let us put up the hood, which had ears and a face, after he discovered it himself.  :)

New Haircuts

We got haircuts recently-the boys did, that is.  Chase got his today, Owen a few weeks ago.  It was their first haircut that we've paid for.  Owen sat on my lap but Chase was ultra brave and sat in the chair all by himself.  He was pretty cute with the big cape on.

Both boys were just angels while getting their hair cut.  Neither made a peep or moved an inch.  The stylists were amazed.

A Dream Come True!

Chase and Owen just love the movie "Cars" and they have many of the car characters from the movie.  Jeff and I took the boys to the Mpls Car Show and had a great time.  There was an added bonus! Lightening McQueen, Mater, and a new car from the "Cars II" movie were there.  They were pretty cool looking.  The boys loved seeing their favorite characters.  It was hard to keep them away from the cars and we were reminded by a very friendly worker to keep them away. It was a very fun day.

Owen loves the exhaust pipes on his small Lightening and when he saw the actual pipes on the car he went nuts!

 

While at the car show 2 young guys came up to me and started talking to me.  I wasn't even paying attention and thought they surely were not talking to me. One of them said, "Do you want to see what they will look like in 20 years?"  I looked at him and thought he was nuts, then I saw his twin standing right next to him and started laughing!  They were such nice (and cute) guys!  Chase was very shy because a lot of people were looking and Owen and him.  He was making this really weird face and doing a strange thing with his eyes.  Owen got shy toward the end and wouldn't look at me.  The guys' dad wanted a picture, so of course I got one too.  Would you believe the guys are not identical.  I couldn't believe it!

I was so embarrassed I let Chase wear these flood water pants!

Jeff decided to go out and pick up branches that had fallen off the trees.  He didn't bring his own clothes so he wore my mom's coat from the 80s and her wellies (which fit, strange I know).
