It's Our 1st Birthday!!!!

It's hard to believe it has been 1 year since our lives changed. Chase and Owen were born into the world on this day. Chase was born at 6:11 p.m. and Owen at 6:19 p.m. They have brought joy into my life like I have never known. I've loved more this past year then I ever knew possible and I've gone through tough and tiring times like I never knew possible. From late night feedings, to too many poopy diapers, to walking out the door without my shoes on because I was too tired to notice, to accidentally eating Owen's poo at the fair, it's been a crazy and wonderful year. Jeff and I feel blessed beyond measure and don't know and don't want to know what life would be like without our baby angels, Chase and Owen.

Here's how things happened last year, to recap.
4:30 a.m. my water broke and labor started
9:00 ish, I got my first epidural
11:00 I figured out the epidural wasn't working and asked for another. I was told it would be "awhile" so I was given nubane.
11:15 The Dr. actually was available for the 2nd epidural. Now I had nubane and an epidural, I was feeling GOOD!
12:00 little naps on and off
3:30 very ready to have babies
5:00 shift change and no Drs. available to deliver my babies
5:30 went to OR to get ready to deliver
5:35 I was very mad and ready to deliever-wondering where in the WORLD my Dr. was
6:00 probably began pushing and 9-10 pushes later Chase was born at 6:11
6:11 looked at my new beautiful baby and was very relieved! Watched him get cleaned off and got ready to push Owen out
6:13 ultrasound to see if Owen was still head down
6:19 after 7 pushed Owen was born and I looked at my other new baby and felt blessed and tired.

11:30 pm the boys got their first bath and the rest until now is a blur! :)
