New Birthday Bikes

Chase and Owen got new bikes for their 5th birthday!  Prior to this summer they had not had any interest in riding a bike.  None, zip, nada.  This summer they pulled out an old hand me down bike and Chase was off, riding up and down the sidewalks, loving it!  Then Owen started to learn to ride and then they started to fight over the bike.  We knew it was time to get them their own.  It has been really fun watching them develop their bike riding skills, zoom up and down the sidewalks yelling, laughing and having a great time.  They look like such big boys now!  A couple days before their birthday we went to pick up the bikes.  They waited so patiently and ran to the bikes when they saw them.  The handle turns and makes an engine revving sound, which they love.  Yesterday the 4 of us took a walk down, out and around the neighborhood and they did great!
