Never-Ending Birthday Festivities

 

To celebrate their 3rd birthday, on Wednesday June 29th Chase and Owen had a birthday party with their friends from daycare, the ones they spend the most time with.  It was super fun!  We played and had cake and ice cream.  It was a short and sweet little party.  The boys were tickled to have their friends at their house.

The Lightening McQueen cake I worked so hard on.  I was pretty proud of how it turned out and the oohs and aahhs I got from Chase and Owen made it all worth it!

Owen and Chase's actual birthday on July 1st was a fun filled day.  We went to Kidcreate Studio to make some 4th of July art.

Then we went to the club to swim with our friends Madison and Paige-which we also did last year.  It's been super hot here so it was perfect.  We had lunch too.

That night when Daddy got home we went to dinner at Tommy's Malt Shop.  It was super fun too!  The boys got their own chocolate sundae with a cherry on top.

This is one of Chase's favorite things to do with me, forehead to forehead and nose to nose, tipping our heads back and forth.

Then on Saturday the 3rd we had the Berger families over for a birthday dinner and cake.  The kids played outside in the water or with their toys and the adults played along.  It was a fun and special day with family.  We are lucky to have family so close. We loved celebrating with Nana and Papa, Uncle Patrick, Aunt Lindsay, Sophie and Gavin.
