A few weeks ago we planted a small tree in our backyard. We were watering the tree when Chase and Owen discovered the muddy water hole. Oh boy, the fun was on. First they stomped around in the mud. Owen was wearing normal tennies, whereas Chase had on his froggy boots already. I was able to run in, grab Owen's boots, run out and get them on Owen's feet without much complaint. Then they figured out the hose could be picked up and that the water was really fun to play in. The boys were just adorable exploring the water, feeling the mud and spraying each other with the hose. Jeff was digging a hole for another tree and after playing with the hose Chase fell face first in the hole. Luckily I was right there (why I didn't catch him, I don't know). He wasn't hurt and didn't even cry!
Owen picks up a dirt clod.
Chase is touching the water coming out of the hose
Look at those chubby cheeks! Owen eventually threw this clod of dirt into the puddle.
Look how small my babies look!
Look Mom! We are sharing!
Owen waters the tree, I think this was the last time I saw them both dry.

On a COMPLETELY unrelated note . . . do you ever find something in your fridge that has been there too long, like past the expiration date? Oh, boy. I pulled out 15 bottles of stuff from our fridge and pantry last night. Gross. How does this happen? I feel like I just bought the stuff!
