Halloween 2015

Pre-Halloween caramel apple decorating!  We sure had fun using sprinkles, however the caramel got so hard we couldn't really eat the apples very well.  We were hoping to lose a few teeth in the process but that didn't happen.

The boys were so excited to carve pumpkins, we just couldn't say no! I think we carved them the Monday before Halloween, and luckily they lasted until Halloween.
Hattie picked a big pumpkin from outside to decorate and it was so heavy to carry!

Chase starts to take out the goop!

Halloween night!  Saturday night was a great night! We had warmish weather and it was still light because Day light savings had not happened yet!

Owen was super excited to be a minion and he was good at it!

Ready to trick or treat!

I found these boots and had forgotten we had them, they were perfect for her costume!!!

I can't get enough of my little fairy

After trick or treating the kids had so much fun handing out candy!

We decorated baby pumpkins from Nana's garden

Pre Halloween fun.  It was so warm in October we didn't have to wear shoes

All the kids were excited to start trick or treating, although Hattie didn't really know what she was getting into.  She just walked with me so patient and carried her little bucket.  The boys took off and ran from house to house and darted across the street.  It was a little crazy!  At one point I lost them and luckily the neighbors knew where they were.  I took Hattie home after going down the street and up the other side.  She didn't even care if she went up to the houses to get candy (mostly because she didn't really know what she was getting) and her little hands got cold.  She did have fun, though and enjoyed handing out candy with Daddy.  Once I dropped Hattie off I was able to run with the boys a bit, then Jeff went out with them too and Hattie and I ate candy and handed out a few pieces.

Chase and Owen taking a break, needing to dump out their buckets because they are too heavy.  They look sweaty and out of breath.

Waiting for more kids to come to hand out candy.  At one point we ran out of candy and Owen didn't want kids to be without so he ran inside and got his candy to give away!  How sweet it that.  Chase dropped the bowl at one point and kids just went after the candy and took it and ran (which wasn't very nice since they were our neighbors).  That was the end of the candy.

And off she goes!
