Hattie went along too and was a very cute kitty
Tuesday night we carved pumpkins. The boys helped using the tools to make the faces look spooky.
Cuties!
Chase works hard
Owen carves away
During the day the boys had a Harvest Festival at school. They wore their costumes on the bus and were just adorable. Chase was a kitty again and Owen was the big bad wolf. They had to be something from the fairy tales and fables they had been reading about during the month of October.
Halloween night was cool, but not windy and not all that bad to be out. Jim and Sandy came over and we had pizza. We didn't start eating until about 6 and by that time kids had started to trick or treat at our house. There were a lot of kids across the street and Chase and Owen wanted the boys to come to our house. They started to yell to the kids and they came over and Chase and Owen handed out candy. They thought it was so fun! They could hardly get a bite of pizza in before the doorbell would ring again and the boys were off and running. We took Hattie to see our good friends down the street and she fell asleep while I was holding her. She was such a sweet little kitty.
Papa and Hattie
Kitty and Spider Man. I thought Chase was going to be Superman, but he changed his mind. Owen won't wear a mask-ever-so this is his full costume.
I love this picture-how cute are they?
They boys went to every house in our neighborhood. Jeff took them to some and then I took them to some. They were so tired by the end and their buckets were so heavy. I carried them and they took off running again. At one point Chase laid on the ground and asked if he could crawl. :) Look at the loot! They had over 100 pieces of candy-most of which is getting donated tomorrow.
