5 Year Old Birthday Party

5?!!! Not quite, but almost.  I just can't believe my little babies are almost 5.  What a great and amazing 5 years it's been.  I really wanted them to have a wonderful birthday party before the baby came.  So, on Saturday June 15th we had a beautiful morning and I was so excited.  The boys couldn't wait and kept asking about it.  At 2:00 the kids started rolling in and so did the clouds.  It was the only 1.5 hours of the day that it rained and we had 20 kids and 7 adults in our house running and screaming (adults were only screaming).  :)  It was so much fun to have preschool friends, neighbors and other friends at the party and the boys had a blast.  They were so happy running around with their friends and I could just see joy on their faces.  We had planned a fishing game and a pinata.  Luckily Jeff was able to do his fishing game on the porch and it went over very well and took up time.  We weren't able to do my homemade beautiful pinata, but that's ok. Cake and ice cream were a hit and opening presents was fun too.  Overall it was a success and the kids had a blast.

They found these ribbons at the party score when we were collecting party items and just had to have them. They loved wearing them.  We didn't really have a theme.  They wanted race car invites, a dinosaur cake and then we had these ribbons.  I didn't care as long as they were happy, and they were!
