Camping-MOPS Style

We had a wonderful weekend camping with 5 families from my MOPS group at church. We went to Baker Park, which was fabulous. It was so much fun to hang out for 2 straight days with our families.  The kids all had a blast and the weather was the best it's been all summer (meaning it wasn't above 85!)

It was MacKenna's birthday and we celebrated with a large cake!  The kids loved it.  Happy 4th birthday!

Chase in the basketball hoop.  The first night all the kids were so crazy.  They just loved Miles and he was so much fun for them to play with.  He was such a good sport!

The next day the kids found a big bug and spent time looking at it and trying to coral it.  They built a little fort for it.

Unfortunately we got rain Saturday during the night so everyone left pretty early on Sunday.  We didn't get a picture of all the women and the kids.  We'll have to do that next summer at our second annual trip!  We also didn't get a picture at our potluck in the camper area where 2 of our friends were.  They were camping in style and we were all a bit jealous.
