We were able to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the Berger side this year. Nana and Papa Berger came to town on the 22nd and Nana Sandy did all the amazing cooking for our celebrations. Jeff came home from work on Christmas Eve and we went to church around 3:30. When we got home everyone arrived and I had activities ready for the kids (so they wouldn't run around like crazed animals). They had so much fun at the "kids" table making Perler bead designs. They ate their dinner in there and loved it! We then opened gifts and hung out and it was perfect.
Christmas day we celebrated as a family in the morning. Everyone actually slept until 6:00!!! I had told the boys they could not go downstairs until we checked things out to make sure Oliver had brought the presents. He sure had! We opened presents, screamed about a few that we were excited about and played and cuddled as a family. Later that day we went to Pat and Lindsay's for dinner. The kids played and played and played and the adults talked around the table. It was a wonderful Christmas!
