Anniversary

Jeff and I celebrated 9 years on October 13th.  We went to Red Stone for a nice meal and to a 3D movie and had a blast laughing and talking.  

ISU Game

We went to an Iowa State game in October and had such a fun time! The kids were so excited to see their Nana and Papa and friends the Bjorks, and we had the best weather!  We hot to tailgate and play around and go to the game and watch the team win-I think . . . .

Silly Mommy

A couple nights ago I went into Hattie's room. She had been calling for me and was amazingly so awake after being in bed for over an hour.  I asked her what she needed and she said she wanted water.  I said it was time to go to sleep, to which she responded,

"No ssss, hilly Mommy"

translation:  "No sleep, Silly Mommy!"

She called me Silly?!  Ha! and she knew she wasn't going to sleep!  Funny girl

Go vs. Went

Chase: "I should have gone potty before I goed."

Me: "It's not goed it is went"

Owen: "I should have went before I goed."

Jeff and I just looked at each other and shook our heads. 

Hattie's 1st Hot Cocoa

Hattie had her first Hot Cocoa last weekend and by the pictures I'm sure you can tell she loved it!  She wanted more and more!

Visit to School

It was so fun to be at school with the boys! They were soooo cute! I walked into Owen’s room and he had his head down and was working on the ipad. When he saw me he was shocked and turned beet red!  Not sure if he was embarrassed or just stunned.  Then he was so cute, giving me big hugs.  He kept watching me and waving and smiling as I worked with some kids on their reading.  Then he came to my group and read with me and smiled and smiled.

Chase was the same, he hopped up on me and wrapped his legs around me, smiled and said, "MOMMY!"  He was so cute and gave commentary about the book I read to the class and was a good listener. He so badly wanted me to come to lunch with him, so I did for a little bit and Owen sat by us and we talked and laughed and had a great time!

Zoo

Jeff was gone for a week in August so we went to the zoo and had a great time!  I had not been there for a year and so much had changed. Hattie loved the animals, the boys loved running and finding the animals to show us and we all had fun on the Merry Go Round.

Treats are always a must at the zoo!

We went in the tropics, which I loved!
