Hattie and Mommy

Oh how I love my sweet little girl. She just loves her Mommy too, which makes her all the sweeter.  She yells for "Mama" and reaches for me and throws her arms around my neck hugging me tight.  In these pictures she is wearing her super warm and cuddly sleep sack

Makeover

Owen and Chase were helping me clean the bathroom one day and found some of my jewelry and hair accessories (the bows are actually Hattie's). They combed my hair and gave me a little makeover.  :)

Hattie's Toe Lint

Oh my, Hattie loves loves loves to pick her toes and get all the lint out!  She will take off her socks, sit down and lift her little foot up as far as she can and look between all her toes. She's so funny and cute!  Sometimes she lays down and looks too!

Big Girl

Hattie is such a big girl!  She is into doing everything Mommy does, Daddy does, and brothers do.  She loves to put her straw in her sippy cup and smile up at me.

 

The other day it was quiet in the room I knew she was in. I walked into the play room and I couldn't see her but I could hear little sounds she was making.  I paniced for a minute, then heard her and walked toward the toy box.  There she was sitting behind it.  She looked up at me and said, "Hot!"  She was sitting on the air vent and it was blowing hot air!  She loved it!

One of my favorite looks because it's so funny!  Blank stare, usually followed by a scowl.

Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

We had a beautiful day in January (actually lots this year) and we got outside to play!  Hattie doesn't really love walking around in the snow, but she did it.

Hattie loves being on the big snowball by Owen, and she LOVES her puppy hat!

Cousins Sophie and Gavin came over and Jeff built them a fort.  They loved it and cried when it fell over.

Reading With Mommy

We had a nice time reading over Christmas break, nothing like some snuggles with the boys and a big trip to the library to get 19 books!

Susie's Birthday

On my birthday, the 8th, I had MOPS, so I wasn't home with the family.  So, on the 7th, I just happened to be home with a sick Chase.  We made dinner and Jeff brought home a wonderful cake that was soooo nice! He knows how much I love birthdays and cake. :) Chase and Owen were so excited to buy me a gift-a SkyLander-however the morning of my birthday Chase looked at me with sad eyes and said, "We don't have a gift for you Mommy. I'm sorry."  Soooo sweet.  Jeff had a gift but the boys didn't know it.

Chase Cooks

Lately Chase has been interested in helping me cook.  He browns hamburger, peels carrots and helps make soup.  It's fun to have a helper!

Ginger Bread Houses

We made super yummy and cute ginger bread houses before Christmas. Chase and Owen were very creative and had fun eating AND decorating their houses! :)

Ice Cream

Daddy and Hattie have a special relationship around icecream!  When Hattie hears the freezer open she runs to Daddy and asks for some. She then runs to a spot in the middle of the floor, sits down, crosses her legs, puts her hands in her lap and looks up at you with a smile.  It's so funny!  Daddy comes over and sits with her and feeds her treats!
