Fall Activities

 We took our annual fall trip to Deardorf Orchards.  It was a lot of fun and a beautiful day.  We saw the llamas, goats, rode the flatbed to the apple trees, picked apples, got a treat and sat on the pumpkins.  I can't wait to go to the orchard whenever it starts to feel like fall.

Out of Their Mouths

"Owen you are beautiful," I said while playing outside on the playset in the setting sun.  "No mommy," he he Owen said.  "Yes, Owen, boys can be beautiful."  "But mommy I don't have parkles (sparkles) on my face!"  Apparently the sparkles from my makeup were much more visible in the sunlight.

"Did Jesus take your Grandma like this (reaches out with both his arms) to heaven?"  Chase asked out of the blue one night.

While praying one night I said,"Owen is there anything you want to ask God's forgiveness for?"  He buried his head in his hands and blankey and said, "I sorry for taking the cookie God!"

New Hats, Same Old Goof Balls

 Owen picked out a new hat when we went shopping last weekend.  Here is a series of his funny expressions.

 Chase also picked out a new hat this weekend and had to do some posing for the camera.

Rooms

Owen and Chase moved into a big boy bed right after Christmas last year, but it takes time to get the rooms ready!  Here are pictures of their rooms, finally finished!

These pictures were taken months apart from each other and i noticed in the first set of Owen's that Chase is not wearing pants.  Now in this set of Chase's pictures, Owen isn't wearing any.  Strange.

Last Weekend

Summer Phone Downloads

Here are the pictures I took on my phone from summer.  I'm finally getting around to blogging about them.  Man, back to school is kicking my butt!  I forget how hard it is to get into a routine, make dinner, get two small ones out the door and hope that I remembered to brush my hair!

Camping

Labor Day weekend we went camping at Frontenac State Park, which was beautiful!  It's near Red Wing.  We went with some friends that Jeff knew from high school and had a great time with their 5 kids.
