Christmas

Nana, ever the teacher, did a great job educating the boys on what a scientist is/does.

Hattie got some cuddles from Nana in her little Christmas sleeper.

Hattie, Papa and Nana

Pat and family came over for dinner and we had a traditional Anderson meal, chili.  The kids had a blast playing together.

Not sure why the boys are not wearing shirts . . . they got to open another gift from Jeff and I and it was their favorite Sky Landers.  They screamed.  They also got new jammies.

 Stockings plum full from Santa
Christmas morning dawned bright and early.  Chase and Owen were up at 3:30 waiting to open presents. They were sleeping in Owen's room because my parents were in their room.  I heard running downstairs and went to see what was going on.  The light was on in their room and they were playing on their bed.  They had been downstairs and said Santa had been there.  I made them sleep of course, but knew we'd be up sooner than later.  When they came in Jeff and I were ready to go and they were excited!  They tore into their stockings and proceeded to find any gift with their name on it and started to open.  We had to stop them and remind them of how we open gifts. :) It was precious.  This was the last time we were all feeling somewhat well-actually this is when we all started to get sick. Jeff had had a cold but was getting worse, Owen felt like he was going to throw up and Chase got a fever and just wanted to nap.

Hattie's First Christmas Church Service

We went to early Christmas Eve service on Sunday night.  It was really lovely and nice to be attend when we didn't have to rush there and rush home to get ready for Christmas.  Hattie wore her first Christmas dress and it was fun to dress her up.  The boys looked very handsome in their bow ties.  Owen stayed in church the entire time, Chase left after the music and I left shortly after that with Hattie. She was so overtired that she was just crazy!  She kept throwing her body backwards almost causing me to drop her.
