Soccer Wrap Up
My little cuties, dressed in matching outfits, march out to the field.
The Purple Butterflies with their coach.
They had an awards ceremony at the beginning and the kids got a metal and certificate. Chase goes first.
Chase accepts his certificate and
turns around with a big smile.
Owen gets his metal and
Certificate,
and is equally happy to show off his goods.
Owen examines his metal

Memorial Day Weekend
My parents came to visit over Memorial Day weekend and we had a nice time. They didn't stay long, but we got plenty of playing in and even celebrated Papa Bob's birthday! The weather was gross and rainy.
The boys were very excited about the dragon cake and couldn't wait to help blow out candles.
Owen must have dipped into the frosting!

36 Weeks
Today I'm 36 weeks along in my pregnancy and I can't believe it! It's been a long past 6 weeks for various reasons, but now that I'm so close to the end it seems to be going quickly. I'm doing well overall, measuring a bit big and have been told by the Dr. that I'm going to have a "big baby". I got to see the baby two weeks ago on a 4D ultrasound, which was amazing. I can't wait to meet her! It's becoming more and more real and we are so happy to be welcoming a new member of our family.
We are in full blown nesting mode around here. Both Jeff and I are trying to get things organized (things that have needed it for years). The baby's room is done for the most part. I'm waiting for curtains to arrive any day now. It's been fun to have lots of projects in the room.
Chase and Owen love to feel their sister kick at night when I snuggle with them. They put their hand on my tummy, mine goes over the top and we giggle and laugh together. It's so amazing to see their eyes light up when they feel a kick or roll and we look at each other with wide eyes. Baby paraphernalia has started to make it's way around the house. We now have a swing in the living room, bouncy seats, car seats, etc. Yesterday a friend returned a box of toys I had lent her and the boys went crazy. You'd think they were babies themselves! :) They have established which ones are their favorites and carry them around the house.
My attitude is one of excitement, wonder, nerves and just plain being "ready" for the new baby. I don't know what it's like to have one baby, or 3 children for that matter, so it makes me a bit nervous. However, God provided this baby, like he did our first two, and I know He will provide for us along the way.
