Chase and Owen's First Christmas Program at Preschool

Chase and Owen had their preschool Christmas program last night.  Since they go to a preschool at a Christian elementary attached to a church, they got to have the program in church.  It was beautifully decorated and we were lucky to get their early to get a good seat.  As the children walked down the isle, Jeff and I didn't even recognize Owen!  He looked so little and had this serious look on his baby face. Then we realized it was him and said hi and he immediately smilled and waved.  A little while later Chase was walking down the isle and we yelled to him and he waved too.  I turned to watch them get into their spots and realized I had tears on my face.  It was such a magical sweet moment to see my two little boys in their first program.  The program was wonderful-focusing on Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethleham, having baby Jesus and how happy the people were.  The kids all had bright smiles on their faces.  Chase and Owen were so happy and excited and smiled their way through the performance, giggling, waving, smiling and singing louder when I motioned. It was fun to hear their voices over the group.  I included a lot of pictures because I didn't have time to go through them all. :)

Owen kept giving us the thumbs up and I'm not real sure what Chase is doing-probably the actions.
I would have expected Chase to be the ham, but it was actually Owen.  He gave the thumbs up, stuck his tongue out at Jeff, smiled and giggled. 

They were excited to be the "sign holders" and when I asked if they were shepards, they said, "NO! We are the sign holders," and boy were they good!

Getting Ready for Christmas

The day after Thanksgiving we decorated our tree and boy was it a project!  I always forget how many boxes and ornaments I have.  The boys were great helpers, sometimes a little too eager to pull things out of boxes.  We didn't have any broken ornaments, though!  They loved to hang the ornaments on the tree, talk about where they came from and who gave them to them.
