Mommy and Chase have fun in the water.  This is the only time he would wear those floaties.

Chase is having fun in the ring-also the only time he would wear it.

Mommy reassuring Owen that it's ok to be in the floatie.

What a wonderful trip to Florida we had!  We made our annual trip to visit Nana and Papa Berger and boy oh boy were Chase and Owen excited to see them.  They ran into their arms as Nana and Papa waited for us at the airport.  The weather was just perfect and we were able to spend so many days in the pool.
On Sunday the boys were up early, as usual.  Jeff came in to wake me up saying, "Where is Chase's swim suit?  He's outside, he took all his clothes off and wants to get in the pool."  :)  I got up and was in the pool with Chase at 8:30 am!  We went to a Seafood Festival on Marco Island around 10:00. Chase and Owen were the only kids there for a little while so they got to play on the blow up bouncers all by themselves.  They climbed to the top of the big slide and Chase went down right away, all by himself.  This was very atypical of him.  Owen wanted me to go down with him, so of course, I did. It was fun!  We then had some great seafood, I had grouper. It was really hot and the boys were sweating.  Their little faces were bright red, too.  They sure take after their Mommy.  There was a band of senior citizens playing music as entertainment.  Chase and Owen grabbed our hands and dragged us over to dance in front of all the people.  We had such a great time.  C & O fell asleep on the way home but would not take a nap when we got home, so they went napless on Sunday.  We went out and had a super fun pool party.  Everyone was in the water splashing, kicking, laughing and having a blast.  Chase layed on my tummy as I floated on my back. He loved it!  He would rest his chin on my chin and just lay there.  We also began hunting for gekos, which Chase and Owen call gackos.  Owen says gago.

Sunday night was a nightmare, with the boys not wanting to sleep at all.  They were up around 10:30 and didn't go back to sleep until 2:30 am.  Jeff and I were not happy campers.  The next day we hung out at the house all day and went in the pool many many times.  The boys couldn't get enough of the water, throwing things in it, looking out at the pond, looking for geckos, etc. It was the most content I've seen them in a long time.  They just played and played and played with very little arguing.

I've taken too long to post about Florida and now I'm having trouble remembering things!  Yikes.  More to come.
