Yesterday we hung out inside in the morning and played, went downtown Naples to the park and walked along 5th Ave. It was great to be in the sun. The boys got lots of oohs and ahhs. Jeff and I went out for dinner last night and had fun being out on the town with the 65-70 year old grandma and grandpas. :)
Today we are playing in the sun, went on a long walk, which turned into Jeff and I carrying the boys, and we are heading to a park with a beach, then going to a late lunch, then to visit a high school friend of Jeff's. There is never a dull moment!
Chase won't wear his sandals. He cries and screams. It's fun. Right now they are out by the pool running around. It's just a great scene. I better sign off and go enjoy the fun myself.
Pictures will come when I get home, it takes too long to upload here.
Hi to friends in SD, MN, CO, VA, OH, IL, and beyond. Wish you were here . . .

We made it to Florida! We left early this morning and arrived about noon, Naples time. Boy, does it feel great to be here! There are many firsts taking place.
1. Chase and Owen's first time to Naples to visit Grandma and Grandpa Berger
2. Owen's first time throwing up all over me and himself on the airplane upon descent-it was not pretty, trust me. He had to change his entire outfit (thankgoodness I had thought to pack extra pants) and I had to change my shirts and had to deal with my pants)
3. Owen got his first scraped knees-oohh poor guy, he's had a rough day. Running down the sidewalk is tricky for a little boy.
4. Chase and Owen had their first swim in Grandma and Grandpa's pool
5. Saw big birds dive into the water to get fish
6. We can't wait to continue to explore!

Last weekend the boys, Jeff and I had a chance to explore the backyard. It was fun to look at the leaves, the dirt, the rocks and the weeds. Owen had the most fun exploring. I can't wait for it to green up and be able to explore more!

Owen is shaking something he found-maybe an old brick?

I found some weeds Mom!
Preparing to throw weeds
What a weed! thinks Owen
Look at me! Playing under the deck is fun!

Jeff got out his hat last night. Boy oh boy cowboy, did we have fun! Owen sure loved to wear the hat. He thought he was a cool dude. Chase didn't really want to wear the hat. He only wanted to grab it off of Owen's head.
Owen loves the big hat
Chase tries on the hat
Jeff tries to get Chase to wear it, from his expression you can tell he's not thrilled.
Look at me Ma!
I think the cow shirt is very appropriate for this ensemble.
Notice Jeff holding Chase back. Notice Owen's chubby little thighs?
Chase tries to take the hat and Owen is prepared for it! He uses the head tilt to get away.

Last week when we got home from school I let the boys loose. They ran to the mailbox with me and Chase found the sand in the street. He began digging in it. He picked it up, put it on Owen's head and started rubbing it around. Owen didn't seem to care at all. Then he picked up the sand and began putting it on his head, over and over. Then he started rubbing it in while laughing. Oh, I have a messy on on my hands. It was funny but I just noticed some of it is still in his hair. This isn't a good thing. :)

C & O love to play with little things and these little things are chocolates. They know what they are, which makes them even more fun to play with, rather than having them ripped out of their hands by mom and dad. :) This is what we did when I was making dinner last week after getting home from work. It's either sit on the counter and play with chocolates or scream at my legs to be picked up. I choose chocolate and so do the boys.
Chase is super happy!

Ring Around the Rosie has become a big hit at our house. The boys love it and love to play with us and with each other. When Jeff and I get to dizzy to continue, the boys will do it alone. (Thank goodness) It's adorable.
This is how Ring Around the Rosie ends. Owen falls and Chase falls on top of him-on purpose!
Playing Ring around the Rosie-Owen is shirtless
Grabbing hands is fun and difficult.
